About The Veil  

The Veil is a private, Christian Wedding & Ministry Center. We partner with Members to provide God-honoring services and celebrations in accordance with our sincerely held beliefs.  

 

Our Mission  

- Express unions that reflect God’s design for marriage as a sacred covenant between one biological man and one biological woman, as modelled in the New Testament (Matthew 19:4-6).  

- Share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the forgiveness and peace He offers.  

- Welcome Members' respecting guests of any faith to experience God’s love.  

- Help Members express their unique visions through invitations, websites, décor, and events.  

- Celebrate life events: bridal showers, weddings, baby showers, birthdays, graduations, retirements, anniversaries, memorial services and other ministry events.  

- Offer ongoing complimentary and confidential support for strong, faith-based families.

Membership  

Membership is granted only at the discretion of The Veil’s leadership. Facilities, services, and activities are not open to the public and are available exclusively to approved Members. Members may invite non-members as guests.

Membership is free, non-transferable, and lasts indefinitely as long as The Veil continues operating and the Member honors this Agreement. Participation is based solely on the shared mission statements. Fees apply only for optional services (such as facility rentals or overnight stays).

Services and Religious Protections  

All services and facility use are expressive religious activities tied to our sincerely held beliefs. The Veil reserves the right to deny membership to any person or event that conflicts with those beliefs, in accordance with our rights under the First Amendment, the U.S. Constitution, the Michigan Constitution, and Natural Law. This Agreement creates a private contractual and religious associational relationship.  

 

Termination  

- A Member may end membership at any time with written notice.  

- The Veil may end membership at its sole discretion for any reason consistent with its religious mission or if the Member fails to honor this Agreement or pay fees for elected services.  

- No refunds will be issued for any fees paid.  

 

Limitation of Liability 

The Veil, its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any damages arising from denial of membership, termination, or use of services. All services are provided “as is.” Members assume full responsibility for their own arrangements.  

 

Dispute Resolution (1 Corinthians 6:1-8)  

Any dispute arising from this Agreement, membership, or use of facilities/services must first be submitted to Christian conciliation and mediation by mutually agreed-upon biblically qualified church leaders or a recognized Christian ministry (such as Peacemaker Ministries or the Institute for Christian Conciliation).  

 

If the dispute is not resolved within sixty (60) days, it shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the same or a mutually agreed Christian arbitration provider. The arbitrator’s decision is final and binding and may be entered in any court with jurisdiction. Both parties waive any right to a jury trial.  

 

Governing Law  

This Agreement is governed by Michigan law.  

 

Other Important Terms  

- Entire Agreement: This document is the complete agreement and replaces all prior understandings.  

- Severability: If any part is invalid, the rest remains in effect.  

- Attorneys’ Fees: The prevailing party in any enforcement action recovers reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs.  

- Indemnification: Members agree to protect and hold harmless The Veil, its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims arising from the Member’s or their guests’ use of facilities or services or any breach of this Agreement.  

- Amendments: The Veil may amend this Agreement with thirty (30) days’ written notice. Continued membership after notice means the Member accepts the changes.
